Tell Your Story

"Life Isn't About Waiting For The storm To Pass, It's About Learning To Dance In The Rain"

The wind howls at your windows, the rain lashes at your door. As you curse the weather and tightly draw those heavy drapes to the world outside, you feel sure today must be another day spent indoors.

No! No! The kids outside... they know best! Chuckling and indifferent, joyful and free, the message of their timeless innocence surely teaches us all that we need to know.
Like cold water, life is best when you jump right in!
Un-batten the hatches to your rainy heart, open up your windows to the world outside your door.

“If You Always Do What You've Always Done, You'll Always Get What You've Always Gotten”

Wow. This single statement seemed so indicative of the life I'd led up until the moment I first came upon it, around ten years ago. And as I digested these words for the first time, I felt a tingling shudder of realisation at the truth they embodied -together with a fresh sense of hope- as the cutting profundity of this “message for life” carved it's indelible mark deep into my heart.

We all know that life can change in an instant. And for me, this statement represented that instant. The Taoist proverb states, “When the student is ready, the master appears”.

"A Ship in The Harbour is Safe, But That Is Not What Ships Are Built For"

Rise and shine. Breathe and smile. Greet this momentous day with outstretched arms. Shake off the troubles of your sorry yesterday. They can do you no harm. Yesterdays are history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, whichiswhywecall it “the present”. So unwrap your gift with the keen wonder of a child on Christmas morning. Take this gift. Love it, celebrate it. Share it with everyone like a smile on a grinning face. Open your heart. Open your mind. Like parachutes, minds work best when open.

"Get A Proper Job" - My journey into life as a full-time artist

From the earliest age I loved to create, doodling on anything I could get my hands on. I recollect my early sense of wonder as this new world of unending possibility unfolded. Smiles of gentle encouragement from family quickly elevated my self-esteem as a budding, young artist.

My enthusiasm blossomed further upon winning first place in our infant school art competition!

My design was to adorn the front cover of our school sports day programme! Hooray!

I became hailed as the “class artist”, from then on being elected for lead roles in design projects.
